Souvenir is a memento, a keepsake, or a memory. Although in English it is more commonly used as a small gift or keepsake from travels, in French it is used to describe a memory which comes to mind. What is your favorite Valentine's Day souvenir?

Joie de vivre

Directly translated this French expression means: The Joy of Life. As we all know, the French have a certain "Joie de vivre" that the world envies. This Valentine's Day take it slow and enjoy the joie de vivre!

Romance

Romance, romance, romance... "Oh Romeo... or Pierre... where for art thou romance?"

It is a common stereotype in American culture that French people are amongst the most romantic in the world. Let us know in the comments if this is true!
